General Summary of the Position

 

The Guest Experience Associate is a dedicated and enthusiastic team member who plays a key role in enhancing the overall retreat experience and ensuring client satisfaction by attentively supporting the needs of retreatants. This position is essential in creating a welcoming and seamless environment where guests feel valued, comfortable, and cared for. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Position

 

  • Event Planning.
    • Receives confirmed events reservations from management and takes over the event planning activities until check out.
    • Room readiness. Works with facilities and housekeeping teams to prepare the venue to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction: conference room hospitality preparation, mass set-up, reconciliation prep, casa preparation, and more as needed.
    • Conduct regular checks of common areas and facilities to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.

 

  • Customer Service.
    • Answer calls in a professional manner.
    • Provide organized guest tours.
    • Point of contact for guests’ inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and courteously before and during the events.
    • Emergency point of contact during events/retreats.

 

  • Organization:
    • Maintain the guest experience materials and equipment up to date and in good condition and ready to use.
    • Responsible for lost and found items, the primary contact for inquiries, and in charge of properly storing the items.
    • Any other responsibilities as defined by management.

 

  • Additional Ministerial Responsibilities:

                 Ensuring client satisfaction by attentively supporting the needs of retreatants

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Multitasking skills a must.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with grace and professionalism.
  • Must present a professional image and positive attitude and meet grooming standards at all times.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot issues.
  • Demonstrate superior communication and listening skills.
  • Willingness to collaborate and support fellow team members to achieve common goals.
  • Service oriented.
  • Basic Microsoft knowledge or a willingness to learn to use computer software and office machines such as copiers.
  • Special attention to detail and cleanliness.
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with a diverse range of guests and team members.
  • Demonstrate ability to work as a team player in a structured environment.
  • Strong initiative, ownership and decision-making ability in accordance with our policies.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred.
  • Previous experience in event planning is helpful.
  • Strong ability to determine Guest needs and how to rectify their concerns.
  • Bilingual, English-Spanish preferred.

 

Special Requirements:

  • Must be available to work part-time with a dynamic working schedule
    • Tuesday 9 am – 3 pm
    • Thursday 9 am – 3 pm
    • Friday: 4 pm – 8 pm
    • Saturday: 8 am – 12 pm and/or 4 pm – 8 pm
    • Sunday: 8 am – 12 pm
  • Must be available to work on weekends

 

Physical Requirements Specific to the Job:

  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Pay Range
